The golfcourses are surrounded by pinetree forests and dunes in an area of ​​outstanding natural beauty and have a sensational view on the dramatic coastline. There are good restaurants within the resort and the beaches are just five minutes driving as is Guincho Beach, a famous and popular spot for surfing. There are plenty of things to do in the area, Cascais is an attractive and interesting resort, where the 2007 Sailing World Cup was held. There are nice shops and restaurants. Estoril is a popular tourist resort that has character and charm. Here you will also find the largest casino of Europe.
