A luxury villa set in a quiet location. Location: Paredes de Coura - Minho, Northern Portugal

The appearance of the exterior provides a contrast compared to the beautiful interior, with great attention to detail.The villa was built in 2006 and is in perfect condition. It is located in a small village only a short distance from the beautiful Roman town of Paredes de Coura. Located in an elevated position overlooking a green valley it forms the perfect base for a wonderful holiday with your family and to explore the beautiful unspoilt Minho region.

The open living / dining room has comfortable seating and doors leading to a large covered terrace ideal for alfresco dining. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern facilities. Outside there is a large tiled terrace which is ideal for sunbathing. It is situated on approximately 2 acres of grounds which guests may explore. Besides the private swimming pool, guests have access to a table tennis table and badminton net.

Activities such as riding in the mountains and water sports (including water rafting in the River Minho) are available in the area. The center of Paredes de Coura is about 6 km away and offers a good selection of bars, restaurants and supermarkets, while the local shop is located just 1000 meters from the property.

The ancient Roman town of Ponte de Lima has an excellent golf course and several restaurants and is located approximately 15 minutes away. Viana do Castelo has a vibrant fishing and shipbuilding port and is known for its winding streets and ancient monuments and is also easily accessible.

Accommodation: 12 persons, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms:
Villa: exceptional and fully equipped kitchen and an adjacent shed. Door opening onto a tiled terrace which is ideal for alfresco dining. Spacious living / dining room with table for 8 people, comfortable chairs and a bathroom with shower. There is satellite television, DVD player and music system available. Bedroom with double bed, bedroom (single bed + pull out bed which converts into a double room) and a double bedroom. Bathroom with shower is shared. Large double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower (double shower). In the annex 2 bedrooms have been recently realized.
Garden: 2 acres of land with several mature trees to provide shade. Guests are free to eat of the fruit available. Large fenced area around the private pool (9 x 5 meters). Ideal for badminton and table tennis. Beautiful views over the hills.
