The villa is a typical example of a Douro schisty stone house. The villa has been renovated, which was previously a ruin has now been changed into a beautiful villa. Villa Douro is tastefully furnished to a high standard. Each piece is authentic and almost everyting from the decoration and interior is Portuguese. The attractive decor throughout the house creates an unique atmosphere that will make your stay unforgettable. Guests are pampered by the local staff which live in the nearby village.
There is a cook and a maid who care for the cleaning of the villa. These services, such as the preparation of breakfast, lunch or dinner can be arranged against payment of an additional fee. The food served is also of high quality! The villa is child friendly and suitable for families who want to celebrate an unforgettable holiday in one of the most beautiful places in Portugal. The villa is only a 10 minutes drive away from the picturesque village of Pinhão. From the villa you can also explore the Douro wine region.
The village lies at the foot of the hill, surrounded by vineyards on the place where the river Douro and Pinhão meet. Pinhão is dominated by various wine cellars and even here there are several Quintas, where you can taste the local wines.

Ground floor: Fully equipped kitchen. Spacious living and dining area with comfortable chairs, satellite television, DVD player and stereo installation. Toilets.
First floor: Two bedrooms each with en suite shower room.
Both bedrooms have doors opening onto the lovely balcony (which runs the full length of the house) where you can enjoy magnificent views over the valley. Bedroom with twin beds and adjoining bathroom with shower.
Exterior: sundeck surrounding the pool. Pool shower, barbecue and games room.
Breakfast, dinner and daily maid service available at an additional cost.
