Rent a mill near Barcelos, Northern Portugal.     

At the top of the hill are 2 windmills which can be rented together or seperatly. Both mills have private facilities and both have a private pool. Because the mills are virtually identical, we describe the layout and location of one of the two mills.

The mill has been carefully restored and transformed into a comfortable holiday accommodation in Portugal. This is an ideal location for a festive occasion to celebrate in the Minho region and the sandy beaches to explore. Both mills have a view over the valley and distant sea views. Approximately 12 kmrs away you will find the old fishing village Esposende, where you can admire some beautiful old buildings, or enjoy the cozy squares or the sandy beach. Barcelos, one of the liveliest cities in the north of Portugal is about 20 kmrs from the mill. There is a large weekly market on Thursday. The beautiful city of Porto is about 30 minutes.

Accommodation: 6 adults and 2 children, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms
Ground floor: on the ground floor you will find a hall with a sofa (for children or 1 adult) and a fireplace. A spiral staircase leads to the bedrooms upstairs. Also on the ground floor are the living and dining room with comfortable seating, satellite television and a dining table for 8 people.
Fully equipped kitchen, patio doors lead the terrace with barbecue. Adjacent to the living room is a double bedroom with doors opening onto the terrace by the swimming pool. Extra bathroom with shower.
First floor: Bedroom with double bed and adjoining bathroom with shower.
Second floor: Bedroom with double bed and adjoining bathroom with shower.
Outside: Small enclosed garden with barbecue, garden table in the shade and private swimming pool (7 meters long and 3.50 meters wide). Ladder leads you through the garden to a raised terrace overlooking the countryside.
