Rent a holiday villa in Ponte da Barca, Minho regio, Northern Portugal.     

A very well equipped villa in a prime location. A former farm which was once used by locals for the storage of grain, but with very little remains of the original building. The owner has paid much attention to a few extras to create an extremely comfortable and very well equipped holiday villa. This luxurious villa is situated in a small village on the border of the fantastic national park - the Peneda Geres - with spectacular scenery and a wide variety of flora and fauna. Besides the private swimming pool, guests have their own grounds with a playground with football and a basket for volleyball - a delight for children and adults. The nearby village of Ponte da Barca has a beautiful XV century parish church and an old town square, but the main attraction is the old arch bridge which was built in 1543. The charming town of Ponte de Lima is about 19 miles away. The small village Soajo, where there is a colorful market on the first Sunday of each month is a short distance. Of particular interest are the local "espigueiros" granite-built warehouses for grain.

On the left side of the hall is the fully equipped kitchen with dining table for 8 people. Opening doors to the covered terrace at the front of the villa. A door leads to the garden. Storage room. Living room with comfortable seating, fireplace, card / board game table and satellite television. A door opens into the bedroom. From the little corridor there is a double bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom with shower. There is a second bedroom with twin beds and private shower room. At the end of the corridor is the master bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi.
Outside: Pretty garden with orange, lemon and lime trees. Balcony overlooking the pool and the river at a distance. Open kitchen and bathroom with shower. Double doors lead onto the pool terrace and barbecue area with tables and chairs ideal for alfresco dining. The pool is 10 meters long and 4.5 meters wide and has a depth of 60 centimeters to 1.70 meters. The view from the pool, surrounding lawns and terraces is excellent.
